Aww, this episode really did a number on you and B-man, didn't it?

It's so cold and cutting, just like GNB. Awesome tone.

“I can do it,” he said, between clenched teeth. “It’s my project, and I’ll damn well bring it in, Joe.”

Donavan closed the file.

You've got style!

Thank you honey, and YES, it really HAS done a number on me! In a nice, heart-achey angsty way, like The Goat did.

Barney needs hugs!

Aww... Barn Barn! *hugs*
Ted and Marshall are so horrible to do this to him! T_T I seriously hope there are repercussions from this and the writers don't just brush over it because it's Barney and apparently, no one is meant to care that his feelings are hurt.. :(

I was hoping there'll be fic about this! :D You're mega speedy!

Thanks! And well it's not a particularly long fic, but I really wanted to express my frustration with Ted. It's not okay to hurt Barney, guys! It's not!

Aww, poor Barney! It goes without saying that I love your insight into what Barney is thinking and feeling, but I also love how you've portrayed Joe Donavan here. Reading it made me nervous, so I could totally feel for Barney having to face him. I really don't think Marshall and Ted get the seriousness of what they've done. Especially Ted. There are multiple lawyers at GNB, but not multiple lead architects on the headquarters project.

And this:
Friendship that was false, love that was hopeless, a childhood that was little more than a series of lies.
Hit me where I live! Poor, poor Barney.

Thank you! And exactly, Ted really has landed Barney in the crapper but he didn't even seem the slightest bit bothered. Grrrr!
