Awwwww! This was really sweet. I really like the way you wrote their friendship, how they just get each other without having to say a whole lot. And I love how Barney and Ted both fangirl over the sofa and Robin was all "Uh, it's a brown couch," just totally not getting what makes this so special. And the fact that this is the couch the kids sit on when Ted tells them his neverending story!! Yay!

Thank you! And yes indeed! I've added a pic of the lovely Chesterfield sofa at the end. It just loved the idea of marking Ted's 32nd, giving Barney some depth and just doing something a little more studied and quiet than usual.

And yay for Ted/Barney friendship.
