just spent the evening once more trying to beat my bodyhair into submission. i waxed my legs two weeks ago and again yesterday. OW. i bleed when i wax. anyway, the hair was still resisting so i slapped a load of hair removal cream on, left it on for 5 minutes OVER what you're supposed to, then scrubbed it off

Have you thought about looking into laser hair removal? I gather that with a few courses of "laser beams" you can end up with barely any hair at all, for the rest of your days. One of the few cosmetic procedures that seems worth the money.

for some reason i'm quite managing to keep my sense of humour about this today, it's all so ludicrous i'm a bit giggly about it. and yes, my legs being all smooth makes me feel like a 50s movie star in my head, which is, of course, where it matters.

As for lasers, someone at work had one armpit done by a friend's mum, which is still hair-free. She's dead pleased. I'd say go for it!

Maybe we could tour the world as a freak show, the fat hairy girls? I don't suffer on the body, but I am sure i could get a beard oing under my chin if I left it o naturel! AH god bless PCOS and all it's sufferers! LOL!

Really, though, it's *got* to be no worse than my nightmares. I bleed every time I shave my legs, to the point where now I either have to have them hairy or cut up. :(
Armpits are fine, but face is a nightmare (as it would be, what with being male and all). It takes all of 6 hours before a shadow forms around my mouth.
In short, I feel your pain, unwanted hair is a nightmare.

Meh :(
But I tell you what is good and what I mostly use now:
Babyliss Simply Smooth
It is absolutley wonderful. It buffs away the hairs and dead skin and your legs are amazingly smooth with NO cuts! YAY! Its a little awkward and feels a little funny to begin with, but I would rather that than have hairy legs or look like I have ran through barbed wire ;) I also use it on my arms as my right arm grows coarse dark hair for some odd reason... the other one doesnt! lol!
I also use Johnsons Hair Minimising lotion which works a treat at making regrowth less noticable ;) and it smells gorgeous!

I have never been one for waxing and I cut myself to buggery when shaving, so thats what I use and it works a treat :D
Also try Johnsons hair minimising body lotion. That does seem to slow down hair growth and make it finer.
