Labret piercing? You copycat! I kid, I kid. I bet it looks super cute! But no kissing while it heals. Can you handle that???
Damn, I wish I were going to a masquerade at Castros. If someone takes photos, you need to steal them and show them to me! I wanna see your new hair/new piercing/lovely face!

No kissing? The piercers didn't tell me that! For how long exactly? The thing has actually been driving me nuts so far, catching on my gums and teeth. Did that happen for you at first? And did it stop after a while?

Uh oh, if it is catching on your gums then it is pierced too low. If it's doing that then it can cause gum recession and other badness. At which shop did you get it done? With the teeth, it was just a matter of getting used to it, only took a couple of days for most foods/drinks/talking.
You're not meant to imbibe alcohol, kiss or perform oral sex for 6 weeks after the piercing. They should have given you all this info. I'm kind of concerned that they didn't. You should also be making a mixture of warm, salty water that you soak the outside with two to three times a day (I used a shot glass for this) and also rinsing your mouth with after every meal. Some places will recommend mouthwash for this but it is too harsh and can actually irritate or damage the sensitive mouth tissue.

Xpiercing, near woolies.

They gave me an aftercare sheet which says the saline solution should not be used more than twice a day because overcleaning can be bad. I am the one who chose the position of the piercing cos I didn't like how it looked when it was too high. Also when it catches on my teeth it catches on the caps I have on my bottom teeth which is a really gross feeling, I might have to go to a dentist and get that ground down so there is not break. I have wanted to get that done anyway. But now I am worried about my gums!!!!!

ok so give me more recs regarding the salt water solution. My sheet recommends one teaspoon of table salt to 500mls of boiling water kept in a container and used for no more than three days. This seems like not much salt to me, your thoughts? Also what kind of container do you use? I am using a plastic one at the moment but am wary about putting boiling water into a plastic container but then keeping it in a mug or something seems really unclean and/or unsafe. What do you use for this shit? Love you and your knowledge, SO MUCH!!!!
