Unlike Greygallows, timeripple's romance recommendation, "Lord of Scoundrels" did not arrive with a horrifyingly gauche cover. I was a bit disappointed. It also was not a large-print edition. There is always a trade-off...

I am intrigued! Who is the author? It's hard to tell from the summary if the book I'm finding on Goodreads is the correct one...

I will say, this is a pretty SMUTTY romance, if well developed, so pursue it if you like, but I don't want you to be shocked. ;)

*eyebrows* Oh my...

I'm unlikely to be shocked by regular type smut--the main thing that's likely to make me want to burn out my eyeballs is eroticized (shut up spellcheck it is totally a legit word) rape, because that is just straight up icky :S

HaHA, you read it! I am glad you liked. One of my favorite things about it is the way the hero's attempts to intimidate the heroine sound like awesome plans in his head but turn out to be COMPLETELY FAIL in execution. A++ for sensible ladies!

YES
*his* vulnerabilities being what screws things up (instead of what hobbles the heroine) is so very fresh. And seeing the bull-headedness from inside his own head, but also his realizations that he's going about it all wrong are superexcellent.
