Gokusen+Nodame Cantabile

It's been a while since I first meant to blog about these, but they just keep falling by the wayside--mostly because these aren't shows I feel are so brain-exploding awesome everyone MUST WATCH, nor particularly unknown, so I feel the need to alert people to their existence. And yet, they were so much fun!

Yankumi is my FAVORITE. While Matsujun the delinquent is hilarious (and I love his relationship with Yankumi), I find most of the three series pretty interchangeable.

NODAMEEEEEEEE! I hate most faked music-playing but for some reason in Nodame I just didn't care. XD I LOVED EVERYBODY. Especially EITA THE ROCK VIOLINIST. And Nodame. I know a lot of people who hate her, and I can understand why, but somehow my love for her is beyond reason. ♥

I knooooooow, Nodame I thought would annoy me, but there's something grounding her (like, the sense that her avoidance of excellence IS rooted in something, even before you know what) and her lack of self-consciousness is somehow adorable

OMG EITA. He's been in a lot--the Dororo movie, a bunch of dramas (Last Friends, Voice, that twitter drama, Lucky 7--except he's suddenly NOT in it, wtf) and in dramas he always seems to play this massively quirky character. Typecasting, or do characters just suddenly become massively quirky once he gets ahold of them with his crazy hair and sticky-out ears? XD ♥

Ahhh, lets face it cute passionate rock violinists are always going to be loved.

It was weird how quickly those barrettes became totally reasonable. I only noticed them because the color pattern would change...

That's awesome, that he plays more characters like this! I haven't happened across him, I guess, but he'll be a selling point when I do now.
