I've been meaning to post about some of the stuff I've been reading/watching but the list has gotten to the point of madness.

Also, I am probably running a slight fever.

So pick, what should I tell you about?

I am watching/finished watching lately

I'll be curious to hear what you think of Entwined when you do read it. I luuuuurved it, but I know some people who didn't.

And of course I am always ready to hear more manga-talk!

I just started it and it seems charming! I didn't really love Juliette Marillier's retelling of Dancing Princesses, though it had all the ingredients I'd expect to like. I hope I do like it, I like to fall in love with fairy tales by reading a version that appeals to me...

Curiously, The Princess Curse made me a lot more interested in the original fairy tale than Entwined did, even though I liked Entwined a lot better. I think the thing is that Princess Curse (which I did enjoy, just not as much) made the story a lot more mythic. Which Entwined didn't do at all--but it did hit my buttons a lot better, hence the burning love.

Another book I haven't got around to reading yet! Didn't realize it was a Dancing Princesses tale, though. I will have to add it to my mini-unit here. XD

ALSO, whether you end up liking Entwined or not, you should totally check out the author's blog--

CHIME AND SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE.

Since I you know lived there. :-) Approximately a mile from Tom Hanks's house. Drove by it every day on the way home from work for a while. You know. :-b

(okay so I couldn't see it because there were buildings between the road and the house, but it was right there next to the water, and I know where it was.)
