I remember watching the first episode of the drama when it first aired. I never went back to it, but the Big Moment of the episode was so awesome I re-watched that at least five times. The manga's on my list of to-reads.
The comic is much more a caper-series, where the Surprise Reveal! of character backgrounds and the intrigues involved keep coming, in a fun way. I think it's the writer's strength, and she(?) definitely plays to it.
And the drama does pretty well, too, getting stronger as it goes along and collect characters, rather than otherwise.
The one you have was all it could be, though--I had 1 oz. of the blue, and used it as best I could. This one is nowhere near as soft, though it's got shiny stuff...
