And, seriously, forget being friends with Chad, Jared's an actor. And we've both known enough actors to know that they're needy, insecure, crazy-ass people for the most part, and that they have a hard time with sudden fame, especially at a young age.
It's not like I'm sure Chad encouraged Jared to cheat (unless it was with him. *g*)

And now, reportedly, Sandy herself actually contacted the girl and asked her to take the post down. The poster said it really was Sandy because she did a reverse IP check on the email address that was used to contact her and a reverse check on the phone number that was used to call her and they were both from L.A. I seriously had to sit on my hands to keep from replying and pointing out just how big L.A. is, how many IP servers there are there, and how anyone can get a cellphone with a L.A. area code, so that's still not proof, but whatever. BAT. SHIT. CRAZY. YO.

A curious thing - a few days ago, someone linked to a Russian scan of a recent magazine article on/interview with Jared. There wasn't any fresh info there, as the interview was cobbled together with bits from old ones, but Jared was asked about his perfect girl and what he's looking for in one, and he said that since he was in a long-term relationship, he should probably skip the question. He said (I'm translating): 'I would say, though, that she needs to be a great actress.'
... Is there some way to take this that isn't wrong or bad? It just seems SO loaded. And, coming at the same time as the Fandom Batshit Wank... *shrugs*
Personally, I'm shining my tinhat, and saying it was Jensen, or maybe Chad, that Jared got caught with. And that's that. Selective hearing, and selection vision.

How awful of me is it that my first thought was "Omg, then why was he with Sandy?!" Oops?
Seriously, though, you're right. There's not really any way to that comment that isn't bad or wrong. Chances are he didn't mean it that way, but it comes across as incredibly shallow and vapid.

Mine too. But seriously, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, seeing as how I was translating into English something that had already been in English once, so maybe there was something lost in translation. Still? It's BAD.
Like, does she need to be great to fake it? To be a beard? To be at the same level as Jared? What does it all meaaaaaaaaaan?
