You're a funny woman. I would have thought magic and aliens would have been more of a challenge since you habitually make me laugh - probably when you don't mean to either. But that could just be my warped sense of huumour.
Yeah, but writing funny fic for something that already has a wettingly funny canon written by professional comedians - that's a big ask. There are some writers who have absolutely nailed it. My stuff's still patchy but occasionally I do get a line that makes me really laugh, so I guess I'm getting there!
Just relax and go with it. Your writing is sweet and funny and warm and lovely to read. I've never seen a second of the show and it makes me smile enormously.
I can identify though - a bit like Primeval in a way. Sadly I have never seen a second of slash in the canon version and if I don't feel it in my gut, I can't write it. I so enjoy reading everyone else's slash of course, but there it stops. Those characters are just so hotly het! And besides, all the slash and het is well and truly nailed over there. Wonderful writing and terrific plots everywhere.
