You're right though - the best ideas often come on the verge of sleep - thus the mad scribbling in the semi-dark

Oh, I live with a notebook during daylight hours, that isn't the problem. But I can't get away with mad scribbling after lights-out since I have a partner who is a light sleeper and doesn't take kindly to being woken by demented rustlings and muttering!
