Seriously, just the sound of the doors opening and closing (that gorgeous creak) is inspiration enough.

Thanks for the comment! I'm guessing that's a positive exclamation, yes? :)

I really love this. I love the little details that take up so much space, I love how evocative they are. I love the Dean POV.

I'm terribly intrigued by the kanun, and the town you've drawn here.

I don't know what else to say that would be gushing and silly. Except the standard:

Thank you for sharing :)

Thank you so much! Seriously, it means a lot.

I'm terribly intrigued by the kanun, and the town you've drawn here.

It's so crazy -- I've been reading a lot about it, and understanding how it's so much bigger than anything I can comprehend. If someone is freaking us out, or threatening us, you call the cops. If this happens to you, you're fucked -- there is no where to go. It's on par w/ black hand mafia stuff. Crazy.

The town is not unlike many of the tiny towns around where I grew up. The church is the core, and all springs from it. There would be days when the light would just be grey and I would think I was in a Hitchcock film, for sure.
