i mean, don't get me wrong. mr. smith did compile a fabulous, frothy mix of delictable tunes, but it was his lovely wife mrs. smith (not officially, but one day down the road) who noticed the lonely envelope sitting on his desk- naked, sad, and dreaming of a better life on the left coast.

Just read this this morning. So glad you got it. I'm sure you're thinking "finally." But hey, since I compiled that one, I've gotten a lot more stuff...and you did give me 2 dvd's. Guess it's time to get to work filling that one up. Unless of course you're good for now and don't really want any more new music.

Don't forget to list some faves...always interested in hearing feedback on music.

Early leaders out of the gate:
The Knife
Band of Horses
Girl Talk
Islands
Benjy Ferree
Junior Boys
Menomena
The Twilight Sad

Of course, there's nothing there that I've had any sort of adverse reaction to upon hearing it.

I'd say send along another disc, but maybe hold off until I know what the new address will be (post will be coming soon with more details about that one).

Excellent choices so far. Glad you're digging it.

Band of Horses was my favorite album last year.

Benjy Ferree isn't getting a lot of pub, probably b/c it's an EP. But I really, really dig that album.

Islands had me stupid for about a 3 week period last year. It was all I listened to.

I could go on, but all that you've listed are favs of mine as well. Carry on.
