Really, really beautiful. I love your writing style... there is so much detail and beauty and *real-ness* there; I can feel the sand in my teeth and hear the music of the desert and smell the sun-baked playa.

I *love*, and I cannot emphasize this enough, *love* how real your characters are. You're not afraid to make our gods mere mortals: Adam is brave and beautiful but he is also vulnerable and afraid and a little insecure. Brad is sparkling and sassy, but also a little flighty and self-centered. Kris a good soul, but he's a little lost.

The is one of the more original, heartbreaking, and beautiful stories out there. Good job.
