Oooooh it must be so nice and warm down there. (My toes are freezing off here in Missouri. Alas!)

I still cannot be reconciled to the idea of hockey in Arizona, though.

The warmth was lovely, Rose, though I was happy to see trees when I got home. As for the hockey, most hockey these days is played in climate-controlled arenas. My town still has an outdoor rink, though.

I'm glad you got to go to the land of blue skies and sunshine in December, Laurie. Especially because that land also has cacti. I love cacti!

Happy new year, my fellow friend-of-cacti. I bought myself a punch card to the local health club today and was thinking of you as I plodded along on the treadmill. No place for a laptop at the local health club, though....

It was nice to see the sun every day. I can't truly complain about the weather this winter, though. It was 48 degrees here yesterday...and no snow on the ground. Hope to see you sometime soon!
