That is an amazing outfit. My 5 year old nephew is going to be Jack Sparrow for Halloween, and I can guarentee that will not look as good as the Jack Sparrow attire you made :)

I miss Pirate day. So much.

Thanks! :) It was astonishing how many times he had his picture taken - and how many all of us had our photos taken after we left the faire. Seriously, he is going to be in more photo albums with random little kids than anyone I know.

What was really cute is that a few times parents took his picture with their kid and the kid was dressed in pint-sized Jack Sparrow duds. Totally adorable.

I'm so gobsmacked by your ability. I wish we lived closer and I could pay you to make me clothes! I'm a funny shape and off-the-rack doesn't fit me so well. You are SO talented, lassie!

Thank you! :D I love sewing (obviously) - I sometimes wish I'd learned that about myself before going to college, but live and learn, as they say.
