Red threw out Squirtle's pokeball and waited for his opponent to appear. A familiar pink puffball floated into the stadium, a white sunhat sitting on it's circular head. The trainer's eyes ran over the Jigglypuff.
"Jigg! Jiggly!"
That hat... The same white sunhat, with the same red semicircle that represented a pokeball. Did Jigglypuff always have that color?
Red stared, memories of his childhood flash through his mind. He remembered light brown hair, the same shade as his own, and the sleeveless blue shirt and red miniskirt.
"Come on Red! Mount Moon is waiting for us! The Clefairy come out tonight!"
He shook his head when he heard the Doubleslap land on his Squirtle, emitting a woeful cry.
"Squirtle, use Withdraw!"

He couldn't find the balloon pokemon. After the match, Red was hoping to talk to Jigglypuff. (Not that pokemon could talk, but he wanted some answers.) He searched for it over and over but he never found it.
