I don't usually talk to foreigners in office, mostly because they're boss-leveled and only come here for serious talk. And I'm pretty coward to speak with them. Again, this morning Arlene called to us but this time the call referred to me.

Where would you like to go in the US? Like, are there any particular places?

She's Pilipino, but she was speaking English to me. I don't speak English much in real life, though. So my listening skill is somewhat so-so.

Honestly I don't have any particular places in mind because I don't know much of the place to visit. I'd love to go to New York if that counts.

Ah cool. I speak English fluently, but I wish I knew another language well. I study Japanese, but my listening is pretty bad and kanji is the devil.

New York is dirty! At least, that's what I've heard. I live near Chicago and love it. It's a bit like NY, but it's cleaner and greener.

I speak Thai, actually. I can speak English a little. For Japanese I can read only katagana and guess on kanji since sometimes it has the same meaning in Chinese. Learning different language is fun. :D

I've heard that too lol. But it's pretty famous so I want to take a peek just once in life. XD Aww Chicago sounds nice. This is so tempting...

That is cool you could still understand and help her. If I were you, I would have to ask her to repeat a lot. XD I listened to my friends' voice posts too, but listening is really hard, haha.

I am sorry you missed a chance to visit Japan. =( I hope the luck comes soon.

She was speaking at very slow speed so I can catch with some words or so. It was hard listening to her, though.

I was sad too. I don't have my own bucket to buy the ticket so I declined. :(
