A darn good article by Noonan released today.
America Is at Risk of Boiling Over
And out-of-touch leaders don't see the need to cool things off.

It is worth a read.

With some expectations that a "boiling over" or "tipping point" is coming in the very near future here in America, the article rings true on what has been going on over the past 20-30 ( Read more... )

I am really surprised that their hasn't been an uprising. A riot of people who are plain and simply "fed up!" But then again there have been small ones and when there is one - the people are accused of being racists and bigots, etc.
I think people then back down because they don't want to be thought of as being racists or bigots or homophobes or "what-have-you".
Maybe they don't bother to say anything because they feel it's pointless. I don't know. Sad, very sad. It's like people are turning into zombies or "the Borg"

April and I were just discussing this a couple nights ago. The terms "revolution" and "uprising" seemed to pop up in our conversation and we're both surprised one hasn't happened yet. The smelly, dirty hippies thought they could start one but were too interested in looking weird, doing too many grugs, and giving each other the clap. And where are they now? They're the ones in charge of our country. The late-60s generation has the money and political power and we're all in trouble for it ( ... )

Tea Party movement of today. Most are too self-centered (IMHO)
I agree and am not sold on this group.
I liked what I read somewhere recently where they mentioned that the best way to put it is tea parties. To me that nailed it on the head. Which - to me - also sets it up for a lot nasty division and politicing when the next presidential election occurs.
