Operation "Do everything morthael wants to do in Seattle before he leaves" got underway this weekend.

Friday evening, we had dinner at Lark. He mostly went with things he's always enjoyed there; I tried a couple of new seasonal things, including an apple and endive salad with smoked blue cheese that was absolutely outstanding (even the hardcore carnivore

Dresing way up and then going about town? God, I wish I had somebody who'd do that with me. You're both lucky.

Actually, you probably know several people who would do that with you--it would mostly be a matter of organizing it. :) (I did not try to make this into anything bigger because I simply don't have the mental resources to herd cats right now. We're having a hard enough time trying to cram in everything possible for just the two of us in three weeks, and the holidays as well.)
