My first impulse would be "Tom", but maybe Squish struggles with self-loathing.

His interest seemed to be primarily focused on Spike, actually. Maybe he's trying to work out why that dog is so big and threatening compared to Shylah's complete wimpiness.

(In reality, I think he was just mesmerized by the exaggerated moving images. I don't think he's got enough brain power for more than that, sweet little Zoolander kitty.)
