As April draws to a close, this is my last chance to make a post before the month turns over. So here is another batch of HP icons mainly featuring females, with a few males hiding here and there. My apologies for the belated reply, life has been rather busy. Well, hogwarts_elite is the only sorting community I belong to, so it's difficult to compare it to any others... but personally I have been a member there for a long time now and really enjoy it.

The sorting procedure is quite intense, but through the votes there and also interacting with members of the community over the years I have gained strong insight into where I best fit. It's also very well organized: with lots of discussions, activities and contests as well as something new happening each term it seems; I'm mainly there for my shop and the contests though. It's also a great way to meet other HP fans and people with similar house traits to you.

Of course, no community is perfect but in the end I think there is definitely something there for everyone. You're welcome to submit an application, though please be sure to read the rules and guidelines before doing so as it is an 'elite' community which means members will be strict with their Squib votes. But as long as you are

There aren't any official clubs that I know of, but sometimes members begin unofficial ones (e.g. hookers_elite - for craft lovers of all sorts) then create an external community for interested people to join and participated through. Also at one point there was a list of club names to use on their signature tags, but they weren't otherwise interactive really.

We do however have Hogsmeade Weekend at the end of each term. It's basically just over two days of contests and the last chance to earn any points for your house... also some really fun times to be had if you hang out with your housemates in the AIM chatroom during, lack of sleep and excess of caffeine does that to people ;P
