I don't see where the community blanketed themselves as an ~elite only community~
No, you're right, they never did. I dunno...I'm not saying they shouldn't be involved exactly, just that I was surprised. I'm also probably just being jealous because I want to be a part of that community.
Welp, I genuinely don't have even the first idea of who you might be referring too so what is blatantly obvious to you is clearly lost on me. I thought about it too, I even went over to the comm to have a look because off the top of my head I had no clue. So yes, now I feel like a horrible person for snooping around for ~*NEFARIOUS PURPOSES*~ but I am still lost by this secret. I love the work of everyone who posts there.
There are so many things I could say in response to this. However, I am afraid I'm having trouble not being outraged.
To the first anon comment: yes, these girls are my friends. I admire and respect all of them for their individual and unique styles.
I also agree with what Nia has so eloquently said; our community was never "elite" or anything ridiculous like that. We are simply a group of people who admire each others' work and intend to enable each other into making more. As a matter of fact, our community is more about growing, experimenting, and having fun than anything else. We have never tried to be anything other than that.
I, personally, do not find any single W-S maker to be "low quality" (whatever your standard is for that, I haven't the faintest). I love Paula, Antonia, Sienna, Janie, Shawna, Jess, Rachel, and Val equally and without reservation. Their work is incredible. I am ever so sorry you are missing out on appreciating their amazing talent
