*cries* I can barely even look at this picspam without tearing up. This season was HORRIBLE to Merlin. I hope he's able to get some peace, rest, and healing in the next season (without glossing over everything and pretending like it never happened). And preferably with the help of Arthur. *nods*

Anyway, lovely picspam and great choices. Going to not look again though, 'cause I don't feel like crying right now!

Dude, if they gloss over it again... I'm still royally pissed that Merlin never really dealt with killing Nimueh, that it was kind of just like, "Oh, lah-di-dah, Merlin killed someone, I'm sure this wouldn't affect him at all."

But this season really was absolutely horrible to Merlin, and while I love that Colin was given more than just bumbling sidekick stories where he's the comic relief, did they really have to torture him so much?

The moment from Witchfinder and his father dying were terribly sad - poor Merlin! I wish his father hadn't died so soon after Merlin meeting him. :( And the scene when he said goodbye to Freya broke my heart too. Even though this love interest storyline was rushed, I couldn't help but feel for Merlin when he had to let her go.

I felt the same way. I wasn't remotely invested in Freya but Colin is so damn compelling that I was all choked up watching that scene.

It was terrible! A good actor (like Colin) can damn near sell me on anything, and I felt so bad for Merlin in that scene!
