I love the shadow boxes around the pictures. The wallpaper looks great (but I didn't expect anything less with Carmine as the subject ;))

Thanks. :) I actually learned about the shadow boxes in an icon tutorial - you just make a black box and set it to softlight. I've decided I absolutely love that effect.
