The serious lonely hero Buffy icons are all gorgeous. I'm going to have trouble picking which ones to use first. =) And I ADORE Ace & her bat! The first time I got my own apartment, I went down to the WalMart, walked back to the sporting goods counter, and told the guy I needed a bat for interdepartmental softball games and home defense. If Ace could take on a Dalek with hers, I'd be fine against human invaders, right? Ten years later, the bat's still under my bed and I've never been scared to live alone.

I'm also snagging some of echarperouge's Nine & Ace ones because that pairing KICKS SO MUCH ASS. I really, really wish there was more fic out there for Nine/Ace. That would totally be enough to entice me back into reading Who stuff.

I always loved it when I could walk to our softball games, because it was so much fun toting my bat around. If I could walk around with a bat and my cleats all the time, I'd be pretty fearless myself.

Ace + Nine is almost too much win to handle.

Oh yeah. I get a real cocky "bring it" attitude when I lug that thing around. I never owned cleats, but I'm sure that puts extra swagger in your walk.
