Light Textures

My first attempt at a resources post.

I have a particular fondness for light textures in my icons (see current icon), and here's a batch of twenty that I made.

Very pretty lights. Downloading the file, just in case.. these would also work in paintshop pro 9.. right? what program do you use?

Thank you! I use Photoshop 6.0, but they should be useable for any program. I generally paste them over the image and set them to "lighten".

Taking the zip file too. I often look at icons and go, "How did they get that cool effect?" And most of the time it's a light texture! It just never occurs to me to use them in my icons.

I'm going to try the paste and lighten too, see if I like it. Thanks :)

You're very welcome! Light textures are the resource I rely on most heavily- they're awesome for all sorts of icons.
