Thoughts on seprate Icon Communities

This has been on my mind for a long time.

I have been thinking to make an Icon community for my icons, even though I have been making for 8 months or having a seprate Icon journal and then making my one at the moment friends only. Even though when I post personal enteries I get no comments?

Any thoughs cause I'm very confused on what to do, where I ( Read more... )

I probably shouldn't be talking when I haven't posted a new icon in over a year!
Even if you're not seeing comments now, it's a good idea to have a separate community, especially if you want to make your own journal private. A community specifically for icons is a good way to keep them organized; and maybe some people might not want to leave icon comments in a personal journal.

Think of it as keeping your personal / profession life separate and keep an icon journal apart from your personal journal.
More people are apt to join a community over a personal entry, because then they won't feel obligated to respond to your personal life, or have it added to their flist.

I say make a seperate journal. It makes it easier for anyone who likes your stuff to look at all you have done :) It also means they don't have to trawl through lots of personall stuff to get to the graphics.
