Font guides?

[I checked the memories, but the only thing I think was remotely close was from a journal that is deleted and purged.]

I am in the search of all your favourite font guides! I have looked through some font sites, but I am curious to see what is used and how (and may find some fonts I looked for but could not find).

When I read your question, I immediately thought of this two guides:

Achtually they were made for PSPX I think, but they are still translatable into other programs (especially when it comes to 'how to make a border/shadow')
