get this colouring in six or seven easy steps (:


  --> 

* used photoshop
* includes colour balance
* should be translatable

1. prepare your base as needed (if you need to sharpen, it can wait...you'll see!)

2. make a new adjustment layer of colour balance:
>> midtones: +22, +24, +38
>> highlights: +4, -4, -22

3. duplicate your base, drag it to the top and set to soft light 40% now, if you need to sharpen, use this layer to apply it.  you can do it once or twice depending on your icon's original sharpness.

4. make a new layer, fill with brown #361C00 and set to exclusion 38%

5. make a new layer, fill with fuchsia #BD039C and set to exclusion 18%

6. make a new layer, fill with light blue/purple #AEAEF8 and set to colour burn 14%

** optional: paste this vignette prepared by me and set to soft light 40% (used in first and last icons) **
