LEARN TO MAKE THESE:

Made in Photoshop CS2
(Non-translatable - Selective Color, Curves)
Difficulty: Medium

 ---

1. Filter > Sharpen. Then, I zoomed in and blurred her cheeks, forehead, and chin. Overall, that just gives the icon a smoother look.

2. Make a new Curves layer.

Input: 130 - Output: 150.

3. New Selective Color layer:

RED: -73, 0, -83, -20
                                                  YELLOW: 0, 0, -72, 17
                                                  NEUTRALS: 70, 30, 30, 10

4. Fill a new layer with #a9ecee and set it to Color Burn 50%.

5. Duplicate your base, drag it to the top, and set it to Soft Light 60%.

6.Up the master Saturation to +20.

7. The last step is to create a new layer, fill it with #f4ced9 and set it to Soft Light 100%.

5. Raise the master Saturation to +30.

6. New Color Balance Layer:

Highlights: 10, 10, 20

7. This step is optional: I typed the word "bossy" in, and pasted some tiny text under it. You don't have to do that, but I thought it fit well with her pose and expression.

I hope everyone enjoys these, I'd love to see what you come up with!
