Really simple colouring tutorial that I made when looking for nice Christmas like colourings. Made using PS9 but easily translatable.
1. First of all crop and prepare your base, all I did to this was sharpen it but you may want to adjust contrast etc depending on your image.
2. Now duplicate your base and set to soft light.
3. Next create a new layer and fill with #00025a and set to exclusion at 50%.
4. Create another new layer and fill with #d1d1d1 and set to soft light at 100%.
5. Duplicate the last layer and set the opacity to 100%. This step depends totally on your base, you may want to reduce the opacity of this layer or just not have this layer at all. Play around and see what works.
6. Now for another new layer, this time fill it with #e4e4e4 and set to colour burn at 100%.
7. The final step now. Duplicate your base, drag it to the top and set to soft light at 100%.
Like I said, a really simple tutorial with only colour layers. Let me know what you think and I'd love to see your results if you try it.
