Gimp tutorial

Jul 28, 2004 10:54

Well,Well, I've finally made a full tutorial for Gimp, and beginners might have a bit of trouble with it, but it's pretty easy for someone who's been using Gimp for awhile. Please tell me if you're not understanding parts of the tutorial, I'd like to know what to change! Thanks! -Ruby

How do you set a layer to "Screen"?

Hit Ctrl-L; a new dialog will pop up, and under Mode, where it says "Normal" change it to "Screen". Hope that helps!

Had a quick read through, and it sounds very clear. I will have a try with it soon.
One question though. I'm a pretty new GIMP user and I have no idea how you can moce text. Text bothers me so much, with trying to get it to not look like an afterthought, and help with placing it would be awesome.
Basically, how do you "move" text?

Thanks for the grand tutorial.
