Keira Knightely Tutorial

Hey there! *waves* . I decided to write a tutorial for this Keira Knightely Icon. I made it in Photoshop Elements 4.0, so there are no Curves, no Selective Color or Color Balance. Just layers, textures and patterns. Super super simple and definitely beginners friendly. And it is easily translatable to other programs like PSP or GIMP. Trust me =)
Step 1:
Get your base. I duplicated my base layer, sharpened the duplicate, and set the opacity to 50%.
Step 2:
Duplicate your base, desaturate it, and set it to Soft Light 100%.
Step 3:
Make a new layer, fill it with #081f48, and set this layer to Exclusion 100&.
Step 4:
Merge your layers. Add this pattern by
pippins_mcgee13, and set it to Soft Light 30%. Erase Keira’s face, body and hair.
Step 5:
Let’s add some text. I wrote “Keira” in Trajan Pro 2,2 pt, colour #b6a891, opacity 100%.
Step 6:
Add this light texture by
textures_r_us, and set it to Screen 100%.
Step 7:
Duplicate the base, drag it to top, and set it to Overlay 50%.
