Undertaker Tutorial

My second tutorial. YAY!

The screen cap, I grabbed off of my Tombstoned dvd

Okay so after cropping and sharpening my base, I duplicated the layer twice, set both to screen and desaturate both.

  Exclusion at 100%

Multiply at 58%

Color Burn 79%

Color Burn at 25%

Soft Light at 63%

Soft Light at 55%

gradient set to Color Burn at 48%

(I’m not entirely sure where I got this gradient and the green one I used below. I’m usually very particular about putting everything in separate folder with the creator’s name, but I didn’t with these. So if anyone knows, please let me know so I can properly credit)

  My icon so far

Okay, now I make a new layer and take this brush from Bruno’s Honeypot http://www.ancient-secret.de/brushes.html
the Vintage Grunge set and scale it down to about 100

I use it in white(I only have it showing in black here so you can see it)
to cover up my base a little bit. You want it covered, but not thickly.
Then with the same brush except in black, I go over the white in the middle so you
have a white frame left on the outside and then set it to screen

Now I take this gradient and put in on Screen at 100%. I erased most of it, leaving only the lower left corner

This gradient again at Color Burn 100%. I erased the parts that were covering his face

Exclusion at 100%. I again erased the parts over his face

Almost done!!!!

This brush again from Bruno's Vintage Grunge set in black (I only have in white here so you can see it)  I place it on a new layer on the right side of my icon and on the bottom

Then I take this tiny text brush in black. Add it onto a new layer and then rotate it 90 degrees CW.
Then I move it over to the right side of my icon. I duplicated the layer as well.
Again, I’m not sure where this brush is from, so if anyone knows, let me know.

Now I just have my text to add. I used Agency FB at 11pt. And wrote Undertaker in all capital letters and with a space between each one.
I put this on the right of my icon and duplicated the layer. And then I also added it to the bottom of my icon.

And that's all :)
