So I'm using VLC player (v 2.0.1) on a Mac to make screen caps, but for some reason, there are random "broken" images in my caps. A lot of broken images.

I'm not doing anything weird; just loading the video from start to finish. Why are there so many broken images? How can I fix this?

basics: screen capture

I'm pretty sure that's the newest version of VLC (2.0.1). It doesn't give me any problems though. Maybe delete the preference file (~/Library/Preferences/.org.videolan.vlc.plist) or uninstall VLC and reinstall it.

this happens to me too, I use the same "new"version, since someone told me I should get the neww, but one thing I noticed, that this broken caps only happened with HD and 720p videos, :/
someone also suggested me that it must be my computer, not the VLC U_U
