Tumblr has 500KB GIF limitation, here's some tutorial and tips to optimize your animation.

I'm hopeless at making gifs that fit LJ/Tumblr's requirements so this is gonna be very useful =D

per our community rules (on our userinfo page), animated graphics must be placed under a lj-cut.

you didn't need to delete it, just put it under a lj-cut.

nah, it's ugly anyway ;)

It was meant to be a cover/teaser, so it'll lose it's use if I put it under an lj-cut. The title will do good before the lj-cut, no worries and thank you.

I've only made a couple of basic GIFs before without really knowing what I was doing so, this is very helpful. I'm glad I followed the link you sent me on twitter and ended up finding this post/comm. ;)
