[Mod Post] September moderation, the LJ Spotlight, and Us

We have been notified that LJ plans to put this community in the Spotlight in mid-September. sidhex3 and I discussed it and decided to go for it.

However, the only way a 30,000 member community can handle even *more* attention is with heavy moderation. We will be putting the community on moderated posting only starting sometime between
