I hope this question hasn't already been asked.. I couldn't find anything about it in the previous posts.
Feel free to kill me to delete this post if my search totally was a failure.

I wanted to make this kind of effect.
I managed to put the "text" instead of the person, but I hadn't been able to achieve the distortion effect, in which the text ( Read more... )

all the tutorials i can find are for CS4. you need the 3d capabilities of a higher version to accomplish the effect.

if you were duplicating this exact picture, for example, you could paste a picture of a book page over the picture of the people and erase all of the book part off of the girl.

you'd then have to contour and shade the words somehow though, for which you are on your own, i don't know how!

Actually you can try drawing a path with pentool over the areas you want text to be distorted, then select the writing tool, click on the beginning of the path, input your text, and distort it. I think it's an easier way.
