Imageready Problems

uhmm.... i need help with my Imageready. I use Photoshop CS2 and the Imageready that comes with it.
When I'm making my gif it looks nice but when I save it it comes out all nasty and different. it didn't do this before so I don't know whats happened! D;

Click "Window" and choose "colors". A new palette will open up on the right. Click the drop down menu "colors" in it, and pick out the highest number. That should fix it.

Sorry. I use PS for making gifs. I get confused sometimes xD

I'm going to say this off the top of my head, because I used to have ImageReady but it disappeared off my computer. Window>Color>Preset

And there is something I think that says 128 or around that. I'm not entirely sure.. Read off the list and it'll come to me.

what i do is, right at the top right, where your layers palate is... you can see 3 different folders. the middle one is the optimize. click that. then you can see a little drop down button, it says unamed.

I usually change the present to the 128 no dither. And then I "save optimized as" and it comes out fine.

see if that works.
