I know nothing about animation or animated gifs or whatever you call that.

Can someone please teach me the basics???

By the way, I'm using Photoshop 7.0

There's an entire "ImageReady" category of tutorials in the memories, ImageReady being the companion program to Photoshop prior to CS that you use for animation.

They stopped shipping ImageReady in CS3 I believe. I have CS and I have ImageReady.

Ah, my bad. |D My high school had CS2 and I did use ImageReady in my media class, I really should have remembered that.
