*Made in: Photoshop.

Images used:
Britney.

To

1)Sharpen your image.Than Duplicate your image and set it to screen.

2)Open up a new Color balance Layer and use the following Settings,
Midtones: -24,-6,-37. This layer gives the image a bit of yellow.
Its not a lot but it helps in the end.

3)Make yourself another layer and Flood fill it with #dcdcd8.
Set the layer to Darken 100%.

4)Open up another layer and Flood fill with #454337 or any dark brown.
Set this layer to Softlight 40%. Now grab an eraser. It doesn't matter what size. Also make sure your eraser's opacity is set to 100%. Erase around Britney's face. I wanted to remove the dark coloring. So now the only area's of the image that are dark, are the background and her hair.

5)Make a Brightness/Contrast layer and use these settings,
Brightness: +7
Contrast: +40.

6)Make another Brightness/Contrast layer and use these settings,
Brightness: +58

7)Make a new layer and Flood fill it with #6f6f6f.
Set the layer to Screen 35%.

8)Make a new Hue/Saturation layer and use these settings,
Master: +6,+18. Set this layer to Colorburn 20%. Now were getting somewhere. This layer darkened the image and gave the image a more brown and contrast look.

9)Make another Brightness/Contrast layer and use these settings,
Brightness: +7
Contrast: +40.

10)Now Select all of your layers and copy merge them.
In photoshop you can do this by going up to Select>>All than Edit>>Copy Merged. As for Paintshop Pro I have no idea, sorry.

11)Duplicate the layer you just made and set it to Softlight 25%.

12)Make a Brightness/Contrast layer and use these settings,
Brightness: +7
Contrast: +40.

13)Open a new layer and grab yourself a brush.
Make a brush mark on your image with the color white, and set the layer to
Screen 20%. Adjust the opacity as needed.

14)Select all of your layers and copy merge them again.

15)Duplicate the new layer and sharpen it. Fade the sharpened layer to 35%.

And that's it! =D.
