I don't know what I did, but somehow I messed up my colors in PSCS2! I'm freaking out!

The link you referred me to doesn't help. I don't have the same options as PSCS3. :/ Unless I'm missing it or something, quite possible.

why do you save for web?? and not just "save as"?

I dunno really, I've been doing it that way for years and just stuck with it. I like the way images look on save for web and if I use any other format they just look washed out. *shrug* I'm a creature of habit. I like to stick with what works. :)
