It's time for our third round of Ask the Maker!

Here you'll get the chance to ask icon makers who sign up, questions about their icons and other graphics. You can ask for tutorials, guides/"How to", or ask any other questions regarding their work so the makers can compile a Q&A post with the answers to all the questions they get. As always, .PSD

What can we request from you (tutorials, Q&A, guides etc. .PSDs are not allowed: Request whatever you want, but if I don't have the .psd for an icon, I'm not sure I'll have time to try to recreate it (but I can give you a general idea of what I did)

I don't have the psd for the first 3 icons, but I can do a general guide on how I do black and white, and I can try to recreate the 3rd icon but I remember the process being really weird. But I can definitely do a tutorial for the Sookie icon!

I've been trying to recreate the Britta icon all day and I keep failing, so I think I'm admitting defeat. I can tell you I used a lot of selective color layers and a color fill layer that was set to difference. & the font is Futura.

I'd love a guide on composition from you, because your complex icons (especially the Atonement and The Fall icons in one of your latest posts) are mind-blowingly flawless. Something about how you start out, which caps to pick, how you generally set them up, how you colour them, just how you go about it really. c:
Would that be possible?
