Ask the Maker 2016!

It's June, that means it's time for round 8 of Ask the Maker here at icon_talkHere you'll get the chance to ask icon makers who sign up questions about their icons and other graphics. You can ask for tutorials, guides/"How to", or ask any other questions related their work so these makers can create a Q&A post with the answers to all the questions they get

I love the coloring and lighting of your current default icon, and I would love to hear any notes you had about how you made it! I loved the style of a ton of icons from that post, actually, such as this one and this one as well, so any general notes on how you color things would be loved as well.
