The criteria to which the producers must adhere include commitments to: democratic organisation; sustainability (economically, environmentally and socially) of production; improved working conditions; job creation and investment in their wider communities.

* no comma after adhere
( I think you can just use commas after the colon. You generally use a semicolon when the list is more complicated (i.e. has a subclause within one of the items that needs commas round it).

But either probably works.

I agree - personally, I wouldn't use the semi-colons where you have...it looks a bit fussy, but I don't think anyone will pull you up for it!

I would also not have the semicolons, but agree what you have isn't wrong.

I'd actually use a bullet pointed list, but I presume that isn't allowed.
