So the sky is exploding in the valley today, and all I can hear over the wind and rain are sirens.  I hope everyone is safe and inside...oh yeah and with power too, ours was out earlier today and stuff at work was cancelled because of that.  I dunno if they closed the store down or not though.  I almost have my computer up and running again, just

Yeah it was pretty fucked up this morning, I couldn't sleep cause of all the noise from the wind and rain. Fortunately our power didn't go off, but a ton of power went out throughout the bay area. I get to close today at work, which is stupid cause we're not going to get anyone. And if anyone does come in I'm gonna give them stink-eye. I'm gonna pretty much be like "have you noticed its cold, windy, and rainy out? you think now is a good time for gelato?"

I had an exciting 4 hours in the gust and rain on backyard patrol.

Thankfully, thanks my efforts the pool didn't overflow and branches didn't drown the filter system. But we did lose a chunk of our fence and a terra cotta pot. RIP.
