Because gongchan and krystal basically almost never end up together ever this is just how they are :'(

I feel sad for Chanshik who never gets to be with the one he loves, for Jinri who is never loved by him, and for Soojung who never learns about his love :(

He falls in love with the rain that reminds him always of Soojung.

It makes me awfully sad how Soojung never really manages to end up with Gongchan no matter how hard he tried and whatever desperate attempt he can think of.
Still, such a beautiful read! Sul at the end though D: Love the way you write bb! ♥

Sadness is a strong point of mine x) but yes, it is tragic and sadly it's just the way things would have turned out (I imagine) given the conditions of the time period. I felt a lot of this writing was really different from how I'd usually write so I was apprehensive about how people would find it. Glad you enjoyed :)

MY CREYS. I HAVEN'T READ YOUR GONGSTAL IN SO LONG AND HAPPENED TO STUMBLE UPON THIS ONLY NOW.
You always seem to have a thing for either bittersweet or melancholy endings. Baw.

The next year, Chanshik writes another poem to Soojung and gives it to Jinri. And he secretly wonders - hopes - that perhaps Jinri will read it out to Soojung one evening. Perhaps.

Gongstal is always lovely, and I will always be happy if you are reading it, no matter how late.
And yes I do. I think they leave more of an impression, and to be fair, that's just how things are sometimes. Not everybody gets a happy ending, and sometimes it's for the better.
