( I never really talked to Fay, but the fact that he was no longer talking to me was more annoying than I thought it would be. I didn't really know why Fay had gotten so upset about what had happened, but I figured that I'd give him a few days to cool off a bit. )

A lot of people at my old school would have called Fay gay too.

I've never seen Kurogane as gay, Fay strikes me that way, but I think that Kurogane is just one of those people who wouldn't care what gender of person he fell in love with.

And, yes, ice balls are one of those things that I try to avoid when winter rolls around, because they pretty much are the most painful things ever. XP

I'm pretty sure I started reading this, and then I got caught up on my summer assignments, and then I went away this weekend. I'll definitely read it later, I'm still catching up on emails/gaiaonline posts/more emails.
Three days away, and I have to spend hours getting caught up with life. XP

I just spent the past hour reading through the whole fic and it's one heck of a great read~ <33

"Preschool" ;; a fine snapshot of the pairing without Fai-complications; completely innocent. Really pleasant to go through, I especially liked that scene about Kuro not talking much. Very in-character and deep (as deep as 5-year-olds go).

"Elementary" ;; smooth incorporation of the other characters! This section was amusing as preschool, yet meaningful to their development. Great job on the museum trip. <33

"Middle School" ;; I was surprised that you were able to gauge their maturity levels like that! Their conflict was quite natural, too. At first I thought Fai's reaction to Kuro's protectiveness was a little overboard, but it turned out to be very reasonable after Fai mentioned that he wasn't worth worrying about. Clever.

I loved how you were able to keep their personalities clean-cut through the years of the plot. I can't wait till the next chapter~ <3
