My new glasses make me feel like I'm looking through a fishbowl.  It messes up my depth perception and stuff seems to warp if I move my head back and forth T-T

That happened to me before. Turned out my astigmatism correction was too high and it made me sick.

They told me to see if my eyes adjust after a few days (since my eyes did get quite worse). When they didn't, and I was still sick and headachy, I brought them back, they lowered the strength a teeny bit, and all was well.

I would say call your optometrist. Sounds like the lenses are too strong...if you have not had your 'script updated in a while, and you eyes got much worse, you should correct it in incriments, not all at once. Your eyes are used to straining, and can't relax that fast!

the thing is I always wear contacts, I haven't worn glasses since my perscription was -1.5 which was like.. 2004 or so. Wow.. pretty terrifying my eyes got more than two times that bad in 5 years... >.>

My roommate gerald thinks they got the curvature of the lens wrong, because this happened to him apparently!

That could be it, too. XD If it is off by a fraction of a degree, it will screw you up.

Now that I think about it, I think VisionWorks did that to Julie...

If your prescription changes significantly it's normal for that to happen. The first day or so it'll look weird and might cause headaches. The only tip the optometrist ever gave me was the waiting till morning to wear them thing.

BUT if it's just really bad, and doesn't get better at all by the end of today or tomorrow morning I'd guess something must be off with the lenses. When I first put on my latest glasses in the store things looked WAY too fucked so they rechecked my eyes and it turned out the prescription was wrong and had to order new ones.

Mine also seemed like that a little at first, i think anytime you move up to a slightly more powerful perscrip they do that...you should adjust after wearing them for a bit, but if it continues making you dizzy or giving you headaches, i'd talk to the doctor.

Check to see if they didn't fubar the prescription. (I had a fun case where they inverted two digits, and made things really weird. Horribly confounding, since it was for the right lens, which is suppose to be my 'good' eye.)

Also, when was the last time you had a change in prescription strength? A big jump will probably make your eyes weird out as they try to recalibrate focal length.

This happened to me too for a few days after I got my glasses. I've had them for like 2 months (less?) now. They're my first pair ever but I totally felt like the ground was wavy and unstable and I couldn't walk up stairs with them on for a few days before I got used to them.

Maybe give it like 4-5 days before going back to the doctor to ask what's up.

Oh yeah, and any time I'd take them off for about 2 weeks straight, I still saw the frames whether my eyes were opened or closed, lol. Kinda like after you play DDR too much and too often, you see the arrows when you close your eyes. Thank goodness it wore off though, it was hella annoying.
